At Sedgwick OD Consulting, we believe the best insights come from everywhere. Founded in 2019 by Rachel Sedgwick, we work cross-sector and globally to identify unique organizational strengths and apply them where they’re needed most. We then use a commercial, science-backed approach to design training that energizes teams and changes behaviors—guaranteeing impact that lasts far longer than a slide deck.

Our logo is a murmuration of starlings. Inspired by the breathtaking displays seen in our founder’s hometown of Brighton, it symbolises the dynamic energy and passion we bring to our work. Just as each murmuration forms unique, fluid patterns in the sky, we craft tailored programmes that are as unique and special as your organisation.

Rachel Sedgwick

Founder and Managing Director of Sedgwick OD Consulting

I’m a highly dynamic Learning, Talent, and Organisational Development professional with over 15 years experience in people and talent development. I specialise in creating bespoke learning solutions, blending experiential learning with a deep understanding of neuroscience and learner psychology to deliver innovative, impactful strategies.

My work spans industries and sectors worldwide, where I design engaging instructional programs, deliver team coaching, and facilitate leadership training. I take pride in my creative approach, tailoring solutions to meet each organisation’s unique goals while making the experience enjoyable and memorable for everyone involved.

Prior to founding Sedgwick OD Consulting in 2019, I held senior roles as Head of Learning and Development and Staff Engagement across multiple organisations. This extensive internal experience informs my approach, ensuring that training interventions deliver measurable, commercial outcomes that not only foster individual development but also enable overarching organisational strategy.

When I’m not partnering with organisations to drive growth, I’m based in North London, where I live with my partner, my stepson, an overly friendly cockerpoo called Chase and a far more discerning Berlioz (my VERY fluffy cat who often pops up in virtual meetings).
